Team Flash prepares for the crisis in the latest The Flash season six trailer

Barry Allen’s gift is speed but his true power is his love, so states the latest extended trailer for season six of The CW’s The Flash. That love is powerful & has gotten team Flash through many events, but can it stop a crisis?

That is the question the team will be tasked with, among others, as the countdown to the Crisis on Infinite Earths looms over the series (and numerous other of the Arrowverse shows) ahead of the December and January running crossover event. This trailer focuses more on Barry and his team’s battle to try and stop the outcome of the Crisis that sees Barry vanish forever, a fate they’ve known about since season one.

Included are numerous returning familiar faces, as well as some new threats that will rise to cause chaos in the Flash’s world.

Team Flash spent the last year dealing with not one but two Cicadas, the return of Eobard Thawne (a.k.a. Reverse Flash), and the surprise arrival from the future of Barry and Iris’s daughter Nora West-Allen, (a.k.a. XS). The stakes were higher than ever during the season 5 finale, which culminated in Barry and Iris losing their daughter after only just getting to know her. How will they deal with saying goodbye to their speedster daughter, and what does Thawne’s escape mean for Team Flash?

The Flash returns to The CW on October 08. Crises on Infinite Earth’s stretches across Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash, Batwoman and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow with three of the five episodes ariing in mid-December and the last two held off till shows return in mid-January.
