Straight out of Absolute Carnage, the symbiote Scream gets her own ongoing series

Scream's Marvel Universe return continues as the symbiote and her mysterious host deal with Absolute Carnage's aftermath

For some of Marvel Comics symbiotic related characters, the current Absolute Carnage event is just the latest step in their journey. As announced on Marvel’s The Pull List series, Scream, one of Venom’s oldest symbiotic offspring, is leaping into her very own series beginning in November.

Scream: Curse of Carnage, by the creative team of Clay McCleod Chapman and Chris Mooneyham, will feature a currently mysterious character under the symbiote. Currently former Venom host Patricia Robertson is playing host to the symbiote in the Absolute Carnage: Scream mini-series, but its unclear if she’ll remain this fall.

The Pull List host Tucker Markus said of the book: “The aftemath of Absolute Carnage starts here in November. The original and possibly strongest offspring of the Venom symbiote at last stars in her own self-titled ongoing series set in the Marvel Universe. But after the events of Absolute Carnage, who is the Scream symbiote bonded to? What are their intentions? And what will a pair of web-slinging wall-crawlers, Venom and Spider-Man, what will they have to say about their presence in New York?”

The series brings more symbiotic stories to the MU beginning in November.
