Worlds collide as Cloak & Dagger will crossover for Marvel’s Runaways season 3

Marvel's crossovers continue as the young adult heroes of Hulu will cross paths later this year

Marvel’s Netflix world of shows is now a thing of the past, but their Hulu airing young adult focused sereis are still going quite strong. Now that they are a couple seasons in, Marvel’s Runaways & Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger are finally giving a bunch of fans what they watned: a crossover.

That’s right, when Marvel’s Runaways returns for a third season in December, it will bring along Tyrone Johnson (Aubrey Joseph) & Tandy Bowen (Olivia Holt) for a crossover episode, as announced by Marvel Entertainment.

“It’s so fun being able to do something that revels in the Mighty Marvel Manner! Having these young heroes crossover allows fans of both shows to see the adventure everyone has been waiting for and we’ve only hinted at,” said Jeph Loeb, Executive Producer and Head of Marvel Television, in the press release.

The official snyopsis of season three states:

In the third season, the Runaways frantically search for their captured friends Chase Stein, Gert Yorkes, and Karolina Dean. The kids go head to head with an unstoppable enemy who has targeted Leslie — or more accurately, the child she’s carrying. Nico Minoru draws them all into a dark realm where its ruler Morgan le Fay, played by Elizabeth Hurley, is much more nefarious than anyone the kids have yet to face.

More details about how Cloak and Dagger will fit into the season will be released closer to the season’s debut.

Season three of Marvel’s Runaways begins on December 13 on Hulu.
