The journey begins as CBS All Access releases the first The Twilight Zone reboot trailer

Prepare yourselves to enter a new dimension as CBS opens the door to The Twilight Zone once more

Twilight Zone

We know how we’ll be spending part of April Fool’s Day this year. Not pranking folks, but diving into the Jordan Peele led CBS All Access The Twilight Zone reboot.

The network giant has debuted the first trailer for their new streaming version of the 1964 classic anthology series, and it’s got a lot in it that will likely hook those that are old fans of the series as well as fans of Peele and the others connected to the series.

Beginning with the ominous narration stating “Everything that happens in this universe has to be the way it is. Things happen the way they should,” the trailer quickly dives into scenes that likely make up the first few episodes of the season. We’re given glimpses of the anthology cast which includes Adam Scott, James Frain, Ginnifer Goodwin, Greg Kinnear, Sanaa Lathan, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise, Ike Barinholtz, Kumail Nanjiani, John Cho, Steven Yeun and more.

CBS is of course keeping a lot close to the vest about various plots and episodes, naturally so that people can experience them without prior knowledge which sort of defeats the way the series works, but it is known that Scott is stepping into William Shatner’s old role from the original series for a remake of “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet.”

The Twilight Zone debuts two episodes on Monday, April 01 before moving to air weekly on Thursdays beginning on April 11.
