If you’re digging the current mysteries and stories growing on The CW’s Riverdale, 2019 will bring another chance to dive into that world. After being ripped from the pages of comics a few years ago, the world of the teenage drama series is returning to those same pages.

As reported by SyFy Wire, a brand new Riverdale Season Three comic series will launch in March from the creative team of writer Micol Ostow, previous Riverdale artists Thomas Pitilli and Joe Eisma, colorist Andre Szymanowicz and letterers Janice Chiang & John Workman. Previously there was a Riverdale comic that ran alongside the show which came to an end earlier this year.

This new series will follow the history of the Gryphons and Gargoyles game, a D&D style role-playing game linked to murders in the present as well as in the past of the character’s parents, as well as other dark things happening around the town. Each issue comes with two original stories that line up with the noir drama teen series.
