Things are teased to be getting pretty dark for Matt Murdock in the third season of Netflix’s Marvel’s Daredeviland Wilson Fisk is going to make sure it’s as dark as possible.

Netflix has debuted another promo teaser with the series just a few weeks from release, this one focused on Vincent D’Onofrio’s returning Fisk who is getting out of prison and is looking for revenge after “the Devil took my throne, my freedom, and everything that mattered.”

A recent teaser showcased both Fisk and Murdock, with Fisk donning a very iconic look from the comics while Murdock burns his Murdock accessories as he seeks to embrace the Devil. Both in this new teaser and one of the previous ones, Fisk and Murdock both make references to that releasing the Devil element as things come to a head in their ongoing battle.

Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world or embracing his destiny as a hero.

Marvel’s Daredevil season three follows up on last years Marvel’s Defenders series where Matt was believed dead when the Midland Circle headquarters of The Hand collapsed but instead he ended up waking up at the end of the last episode being taken care of by nuns. This season reportedly is set to adapt the “Born Again” storyline from Frank Miller & David Mazzucchelli.

The entire season will be available on October 19.
