With only a couple of weeks left before it’s debut, DC Universe is rolling out more promotion for their first streaming original series Titans. Following a team poster, the platform has now rolled out various promos centered around those characters.

The first features Dick Grayson/Robin, narrating both flashback and present day series footage that dives into the very reasons why at the start of the show he’s parted ways with mentor Batman. From the narration, it appears that he was worried that he was becoming too much like Batman, which could play into the trailer footage that showed Robin brutally taking down criminals and perhaps that is what makes him realize it’s time to move on and do something different.

The promo for Rachel Roth/Raven is more geared towards setting up the series overall as she is one of the main individuals that kick-starts the series story. In the promo, she struggles to come to terms with her dark potential surrounded by some Christian style imagery.

Third in the promos is one for the extraterrestrial and powerful Koriand’r/Starfire as she is seen being experimented on by some secret shadowy facility as well as her fully unleashing her firey powers before her new team.

Last but certainly not least, is the promo for Garfield Logan/Beast Boy which not only showcases his animal shapeshifting (and adding in more of his trademark green color) but also shows off that just like the source material and other adaptations he’ll be the comic relief factor of the show. Which is shown off well when he asks about a certain caped crusader.

Launching on October 12, Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Lindsey Gort as Detective Amy Rohrbach, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, Conor Leslie as Wonder Girl and Curran Walters as Jason Todd.
