After dropping an intriguing teaser of information back during San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Comics is finally ready to fully pull back the curtain about their upcoming massive 30-part Star Wars maxi-series.
The publisher has announced that during the Disney-Lucasfilm Publishing Panel at New York Comic Con on October 05 they will reveal much more information for their event which tackles stories and characters from three distinct eras of Star Wars. As announced previously, the event will feature a prequel-era Star Wars: Age of Republic set of issues from Jody Houser, a Greg Pak written set of issues in the original trilogy called Star Wars: Age of Rebellion and the Star Wars: Age of Resistance current trilogy era set of issues from Tom Taylor.
Each issue of the series will tell stories centered around an iconic hero and an iconic villain from that era of the franchise. Houser previously revealed that her part of the series is eight issues over four months covering Qui-Gon Jin and Darth Maul in the first issue with stories featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi & Jango Fett, Anakin Skywalker & Count Dooku, and Padme Amidala & General Grievous in the following issues.
All the artists for the series and the other characters are likely to be part of the New York Comic Con announcements.
