Destiny and a disembodied voice are calling Adora in the very first look at the upcoming Dreamworks & Netflix series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, a reboot revival of the original 1980’s She-Ra series.
The teaser gives a brief look at the new Adora (first art reveals earlier this summer sent a toxic portion of the Internet into a fit) as she answers the aforementioned voice that declares she must restore balance and embrace her destiny, for the honor of Greyskull.
Led by Eisner award-winning writer & artist Noelle Stevenson, the new series reimagines the 80s series, a spin-off of Masters of the Universe, and follows the orphaned Adora of Planet Etheria as she wields a magic sword to become She-Ra and begins to fight the evil Horde.
The series stars Aimee Carrero as Adora/She-Ra, Karen Fukuhara as Glimmer, AJ Michalka as Catra, Reshma Shetty as Angella, Lorraine Toussaint as Shadow Weaver, Marcus Scribner as Bow, Lauren Ash as Sorpia, Christine Woods as Entrapta, Keston John as Hordak, Genesis Rodriguez as Perfuma, Jordan Fisher as Seahawk, Merit Leighton as Frosta, Vella Lovell as Mermista, Krystal Joy Brown as Netossa and Sandra Oh as Castaspella. She-Ra and the Princesses of Power debuts on Netflix on November 16, 2018.
