Keeping with the horror tone of the series, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has conjured itself a spooky release date for this fall.

For the last two years the 80’s inspired Stranger Things has called October home on the streaming platform, but this year it will be the Archie Comics series as it was announced during the company’s Television Critics Association panel that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will debut a 10-episode first season on October 26. It’s taking Stranger Things place only because that series has been delayed till 2019 to give the production crew time to deliver a reportedly “bigger and better” season three.

On the series’ Twitter account they also shared a new look at Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) and Harvey Kinkle (Ross Lynch) together.

The series is based upon the comic book series of the same name from Aguirre-Sacasa and artist Robert Hack which reimagined the lighter version of Sabrina seen in the comics (and previously on TV) as a darker and more supernatural thriller type of story.

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina stars Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina, Ross Lynch as Harvey Kinkle, Miranda Otto as Aunt Zelda Spellman, Lucy Davis as Aunt Hilda Spellman, Bronson Pinchot as the villainous Principal George Hawthorne, Jaz Sinclair as Sabrina’s best friend Rosalind Walker, Chance Perdomo as Sabrina’s cousin Ambrose Spellman and Michelle Gomez as Sabrina’s teacher and mentor Mrs. Wardell a.k.a. Madam Satan.
