Jane's sixty-four personalities & powersets makes her the most powerful & unstable member of the Doom Patrol.

Crazy Jane

As Warner Bros. prepares to roll out their new DC Entertainment focused streaming platform, one of their upcoming live-action series for the platform continues to take shape. Spinning out of the Titans series that will kick-off the platform, Doom Patrol has found its Crazy Jane.

Diana Guerrero from Orange is the New Blackas reported by Deadline, is set to take on the role of Crazy Jane who is the most powerful & most unstable member of the Doom Patrol because she suffers from severe multiple personality disorder that gives her 64 distinct personas that all have their own superpower that she can manifest.

The series Doom Patrol is a re-imagining of the beloved group of outcast Super Heroes: Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Girl and Crazy Jane, led by modern-day mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (The Chief). The Doom Patrol’s members each suffered horrible accidents that gave them superhuman abilities — but also left them scarred and disfigured. Traumatized and downtrodden, the team found purpose through The Chief, who brought them together to investigate the weirdest phenomena in existence — and to protect Earth from what they find. Part support group, part Super Hero team, the Doom Patrol is a band of super-powered freaks who fight for a world that wants nothing to do with them. Picking up after the events of TitansDoom Patrol will find these reluctant heroes in a place they never expected to be, called to action by none other than Cyborg, who comes to them with a mission hard to refuse, but with a warning that is hard to ignore: their lives will never, ever be the same.

Doom Patrol was given a straight-to-series order for thirteen episodes and is set to begin production sometime this year with an eye on a 2019 premiere.
