Avenger, hero and synthezoid Vision and what is left of his family are getting their very own series once more. As reported by CBR, New York Times best-selling author & Mockingbird writer Chelsea Cain is returning to Marvel Comics to pen a new six-issue The Vision mini-series in November alongside her husband Marc Mohan and artist Aud Koch. This mini follows up on the Eisner Award-winning The Vision series from Tom King, Gabriel Hernandez Walta, Jordie Bellaire and Michael Walsh where Vision built his very own happy synthetic family before everything began to go wrong.
The Vision mini picks up with Vision his daughter Viv Vision and their dog Sparky having to pick up the pieces of their broken family life to move forward at last.
Following her eight-issue Mockingbird series back in 2016, Cain left social media for a time after the toxic portions of the comic community attacked her over the series especially a cover for issue eight with a Mockingbird’s shirt saying “Ask me about my feminist agenda.” Recently she announced a return to comics with the Image published Man-Eaters with her Mockingbird collaborator Kate Niemczyk.

THE NEXT CHAPTER OF THE VISION FAMILY!
When the Vision decided to try to live a “normal” life, he built a wife, a son and a daughter—a family—only to watch it nearly all crumble. Now all that’s left is Viv, his learning-to-be-rebellious daughter, and Sparky, the family robo-dog. But what does it mean for an artificial intelligence to rebel? And can a synthezoid father handle single parenthood? The married writing team of Chelsea Cain (Mockingbird) & Marc Mohan join rising star artist Aud Koch for a new take on the Vision family that will once again have everyone talking!
