In a year full of big blockbuster bank breaking comic book related films, things have been relatively quieter on the Warner Bros./DC side of things. That changes this winter as Aquaman arrives.

Fans have been chomping at the bit to get to see a trailer or anything from the James Wan directed Jason Momoa starring film, and soon they will. Using their new Twitter account for the film, the studio announced that a trailer will drop on Saturday (the day that Warner Bros. will be debuting tons of stuff in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con) and alongside that announcement comes the first poster for the undersea film.

Aquaman is the King of the Seven Seas. This reluctant ruler of Atlantis, caught between a surface world constantly ravaging the sea and Atlanteans looking to lash out in revolt, is committed to protecting the entire globe.

Opening on December 21, Aquaman Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Ludi Lin, Dolph Lundgren, Randall Park, Temuera Morrison, Djimon Hounsou and Nicole Kidman.
