Both Black Panther and Deadpool took down the competition at the box office this year, and now they are about to try and take one another down in comic book form. Marvel Comics is continuing their trend of Deadpool miniseries pitting him against other Marvel characters with Black Panther Vs. Deadpool this fall.

From Lockjaw The Late Show with Stephen Colbert writer Daniel Kibblesmith and Hit-Girl Civil War II: Kingpin artist Ricardo Lopez, Black Panther Vs. Deadpool sends the Merc with a Mouth to Wakanda seeking a piece of Vibranium for reasons he isn’t disclosing and the King of Wakanda isn’t having it.

“Featuring a brawl you can only get in comics (for now anyway), BLACK PANTHER VS. DEADPOOL is the best of both worlds, equal parts Black Panther/Wakanda and Deadpool/Crazytown,” said Editor Wil Moss. “In bouncing these two characters off each other (and sometimes through each other), Daniel and Ricardo have found some really fascinating insights into what makes them tick as individuals.”

Black Panther Vs. Deadpool arrives in October.
