After announcing that they are set to reclaim a stake on Sunday night programming earlier this year, The CW has made that stake clear by making their Sundays super & magical.
After anchoring Monday nights for the last few seasons, Supergirl will be making the leap to Sundays this fall and will lead into the reboot of former WB series Charmed which the network ordered to series recently.
After sharing the Monday timeslot with Supergirl earlier this year, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will stay in that slot and will now team up with veteran DC series Arrow. Tuesday’s will remain the home for The Flash and the returning Black Lightning with Riverdale remaining on Wednesdays paired up with new series All-American and Supernatural will continue to hold down Thursday nights followed by the Vampire Diaries/The Originals spinoff Legacies.
Fridays are set for the return of Dynasty and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which has been confirmed by CW President Mark Pedowitz to be entering its final season alongside midseason series iZombie and Jane the Virgin.
Other series including the returning The 100 and new shows In the Dark & Roswell, New Mexico are being held for the midseason as well.
