Wedding bells will be ringing this summer as Batman and Catwoman after seventy-odd years of courtship finally tie the knot. While the two will become one as a couple, their separate adventures will continue.
After two years of having no title of her own, after regaining a title at the beginning of the New 52 reboot era, Catwoman is gaining a brand new ongoing series this July. Announced by DC Comics during their Batman Line panel at C2E2, the new series will be written and drawn by Eisener Award winning artist Joëlle Jones and colorist Laura Allred.
Kicking off right after the wedding in Batman #50, this new series finds Selina Kyle not off on some tropical honeymoon adventure or dealing with her new relationship situation but instead finds her back out on the streets of Gotham trying to take down a theivieng copycat and a brad new mysterious villain.
Catwoman #1 arrives on July 4.
