Stephen Strange is ready for a Fresh Start this summer as Marvel Comics launches their sorcerer supreme into space.

As reported by Comic Book Resources, Marvel is relaunching Doctor Strange as part of their Fresh Start relaunch initiative with a new series by Mark Waid and Jesus Saiz that finds Strange heading deep into space with help of Tony Stark because he’s lost his connection to Earth’s magical forces.

“I’ve been a Strange fan forever,” Waid said. “But I’ve never been lucky enough to write an extended run featuring the good doctor. Along with editor Nick Lowe, we’ve come up with some new and very unexpected places to take Stephen Strange in the Marvel Universe — starting with the stars. When Strange’s magic suddenly exhausts itself, he’ll have to travel off-earth to recharge his batteries.”

Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange had various long-running titles in the past but was more of a supporting player for most of the late 90s and 2000s before Jason Aaron and Chris Bachalo launched his current series back in 2015.

Doctor Strange #1 arrives on June 6.
