The Cosmic Ghost Rider weaves a tale through the centuries in Thanos Annual #1

Donny Cates, Geoff Shaw & other writers/artists come together to showcase Thanos' most twisted deeds.

In the far-flung future, Thanos has won and has killed everything and everyone that has gotten in his way except for one being, the Cosmic Ghost Rider who is his companion. Now that Thanos #15 has revealed the identity of this flame skulled former being of vengeance, Thanos Annual #01 is ready to reveal his story.

Marvel has announced that regular Thanos creative team Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw will be joined by Kieron Gillen, Al Ewing, Katie Cook, Ryan North, Frazer Irving and Christopher Hastings for a tale that finds the Cosmic Ghost Rider narrating a journey through Thanos’ most twisted and heinous deeds.

“In issue #15 of Thanos, we see the Rider get a look into Thanos’s mind. In this annual, he tells us about some of the horrors he found in the dark corners of it,” said series editor Jordan D. White. “Donny is, of course, contributing, and we’re both pumped about the TWISTED stories that folks have been pitching in for the Mad Titan.”

King Thanos, the much much older future version of the Mad Titan, cut a swath of destruction across the Marvel Universe all in order to finally try and prove himself to his lady love Death.

“I am so excited to delve further into the Mad Titan and his Cosmic Ghost Rider…friend, and this Annual is a murderer’s row of talent that is not to be missed!” said Cates. “Come and explore the worst deeds Thanos has ever performed…but uh…don’t plan on sleeping any time soon!”

Thanos Annual #01 arrives in April.
