More villains, more action & a gorgeous world emerge in Marvel’s second Black Panther trailer

It’s time to return to Wakanda as Marvel Studios has dropped a brand new trailer for February’s Black Panther. Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa was fully in action during the first teaser trailer, along with this one, but it’s Michael B. Jordan’s Erik Killmonger, Danai Gurira’s Okoye and Andy Serkis’s Klaue among others that get far more screen & speaking time in the new trailer.

Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther stars Boseman, Jordan as Erik Kilmonger, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Gurira as Okoye, Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Martin Freeman as Everett Ross, Serkis as Klaw, Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi, Winston Duke as M’Baku/Man-Ape, Sterling K. Brown as N’Jobu, Florence Kasumba as Ayo, Letitia Wright in an unknown role, and John Kani as King T’Chaka.

The film opens Feburary 16, 2018.
