Even though there is still a little less than three months left before audiences can see it, and many are still waiting for a full second trailer, we’re a giant step closer to being able to see Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Through Instagram director Rian Johnson announced that all post production is now wrapped meaning that the eighth Star Wars film is officially complete and ready for it’s December debut.
From all accounts, those that most of are privy to, this marks the completion of a relatively smooth production, especially when compared to other current and past Star Wars films.
Rogue One had controversy drummed up over reshoots that were not handled by director Gareth Edwards while both the untitled Han Solo film and Star Wars: Episode IX lost their directors in Phil Lord & Chris Miller and Colin Trevorrow with Ron Howard and J.J. Abrams stepping in as replacements.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi continues the Skywalker saga on December 15.
