Halloween

Laurie Strode and Michael Meyers will confront one another for the final time in 2018. Jamie Lee Curtis has announced on Twitter that she will return to play the iconic role of Laurie for the final time in the upcoming Halloween reboot of sorts that will seemingly conclude the long-running series.

Along with announcing her return, Curtis also revealed that the film will arrive on October 19, 2018.

Universal Pictures will distribute the horror film being produced by Trancas International Films, Miramax and Blumhouse Productions. Blumhouse is the production company behind recent horror related hits like Get Out, Split and the Paranormal Activity series.

John Carpenter will return to executive produce the series he created, also serving as a creative consultant, alongside Jason Blum from Blumhouse.  David Gordon Green and Danny McBride worked on the script for this new entry in the franchise.
