After multiple turns as Drax the Destroyer in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Dave Bautista has his sights set on the cinematic universe of another comic book world. The actor stated on Twitter that not only is he involved with an Eternal Warrior film, based upon the Valiant Entertainment character, but that the film is currently in the scripting process.
This is one of the first mentions that Gilad, the Eternal Warrior, is getting a film. Previously it was announced that Valiant had a deal with Sony Pictures for Bloodshot and Harbinger films as well as a Harbinger Wars film to come later, has films for X-O Manowar and Shadowman in development and that Ruben Fleisher is set to direct an Archer & Armstrong film.
Valiant Entertainment CEO Dinesh Shamdasani was brought into the Twitter conversation, and playfully gave a non-answer to the status of a possible film.
No other information about the Eternal Warrior film is known.
