Marvel Studios reveals first look at Thanos children at D23 Expo

By all accounts of the Avengers: Infinity War D23 Expo trailer that are going around, Thanos will be quite a brutal opponent for the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to take on, especially once he gets the Infinity Gauntlet. He won’t be alone though.

At the Expo, Marvel Studios unveiled the first look at four new villains for the film that are Thanos children. Marvel Studios Co-President Louis D’Esposito shared a photo of the children on Twitter.

From left to right the photo features the characters Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight, Thanos himself, Ebony Maw and Black Dwarf. In the comics the characters were not the children of Thanos, they were members of a group called the Black Order who were the followers of Thanos during the 2013 event Infinity.

D’Esposito also shared a photo of the Infinity Gauntlet, complete with all the gems, that Thanos will wield in the film.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlet Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautisa, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Don Cheadle, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Benicio Del Toro, Josh Brolin and pretty much every other major MCU hero or character that has appeared over the almost 10 year history of the studio.
