Production for Marvel Studios third Avengers film, Avengers: Infinity War, has been in motion since January but the film is still adding to it’s already stacked cast. Rumored to be making an appearance in the film, it has now been confirmed that Chadwick Boseman will be in the film reprising his role as King T’Challa/Black Panther.
The actor revealed his part in the film through a short Twitter video that presumably came from the Atlanta set where the film has been shooting, with a chair for Black Panther flanked by ones for Black Widow and Captain America.
This marks a return to Atlanta for the actor who was filming the solo Black Panther film there from January till production wrapped in April.
So far the latest Avengers film, where they will finally take on Thanos, features most of the big Marvel heroes that have appeared in films. Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor, Peter Quill, Gamora, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Spider-Man, Drax, Nebula, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange and many many more are set to play some part in the film.
Black Panther opens on February 16, 2018 and Avengers: Infinity War arrives on May 4, 2018.
