While it lacks the heart string pulling emotional tones of the first Johnny Cash covered trailer, the brand new and final violent trailer for March’s Logan begins to peel back the curtain of mystery surrounding X-23 and the world in this film.
There is plenty for fans to love in the trailer from the clawed violence coming from both Logan and X-23, the confirmation that X-Men comic book exist in this Fox film world, showing just how much X-23 is like Logan when it comes to attitude and ferocity, and the fact that the film fits the tone that many fans have wanted from a Wolverine film for years.
In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hideout on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.
Logan stars Jackman, Stewart, Keen, Boyd Holbrook as Donald Pierce, Richard E. Grant, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Stephen Merchant. The film opens on March 3, 2017.
