Another day brings another confirmation of what MCU Netflix characters will be coming together to appear in the team-up event series The Defenders next year. Previously it was revealed that Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) & Simone Missick (Misty Knight) as well as Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth) and Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse) are all returning for the eight-part series.
Now the official Defenders twitter account has shared a new teaser that shows that Rachel Taylor (Trish Walker), Scott Glenn (Stick) and Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple) are all set to appear in the series as well.
Taylor is making her second appearance in the universe after playing Jessica Jones best friend Trish Walker in the first season of that series, while Glenn is making his third appearance as Daredevil’s mentor Stick after appearing in both seasons of the series. Dawson, of course, has the most extensive Marvel Netflix resume because she has played nurse Claire Temple in every single series & season of the shows that have aired.
All of the added actors/characters will stand alongside Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Finn Jones (Danny Rand/Iron Fist) and Sigourney Weaver who is expected to be playing the series villain.
The Defenders is expected to arrive in fall 2017.
