The newest Pokémon Sun & Moon trailer reveals starters’ final evolutions and the return of Red & Blue

With the games’ release just three weeks away, The Pokémon Company has released another video for Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon to reveal the final evolutions of the starter Pokémon as well as a few surprises.

Rowlett’s final evolution is Decidueye, a Grass and Ghost type Pokémon with the special move called Spirit Shackle that keeps opponent Pokémon from switching out in battle. The firey Litten will end up becoming the bulky Fire & Dark type Incineroar in it’s final evolution, and comes with the signature move Darkest Lariat which ignores all of the opponent’s stat changes. Popplio eventually turns into the majestic Water and Fairy type Primarina with the signature move called Sparkling Aria which heals the burns of any Pokémon that is targeted.

A previous video introduced Tapu Koko the Guardian Pokémon of Melemele Island, and now the other island Guardians have been revealed. The Psychic & Fairy type Tapu Lele is the Guardian of Akala Island, the Grass & Fairy type Tapu Bulu is the Guardian of Ula’ula Island and lastly the Water & Fairy type Tapu Fini is the Guardian of Poni Island.

All four of the Guardians share a unique Z-Move called Guardian of Alola that gives them a giant glowing golden body to perch upon to smash their opponents.

The biggest revelation in the video is the Battle Tree, a place to battle alongside and against various famous trainers including going up against Red and Blue the player and rival characters from the original Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue Pokémon Yellow.

The video also introduces the new Psychic Pokémon Cosmog, the Dark type Alolan form of Persian and indicates that apparently the Pokémon League of the Alola region is still under construction during the game.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon arrives on November 18.
