Los Angeles gives Stan Lee his own day as his Comikaze convention gets a new name



Mark your calendars, The Los Angles City Council has officially named October 28 as Stan Lee Day in the city.

The day honors Lee for his decades of work in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. This wasn’t the only announcement to come out of Lee’s appearance with the council.

At the same time it was announced that Lee’s annual convention known as Stan Lee’s Comikaze has now officially changed it’s name to Stan Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con. Celebrating its sixth year, the convention will be held from October 28 through the 30 this year at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
