As Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon approach their November release date, The Pokémon Company continues to roll out more and more information about new Pokémon and brand new characters and features for the next generation of Pokémon games.
In the latest video from the company, they reveal the mysterious Normal type Pokémon Type: Null that is a synthetically created Pokémon, the Dragon type Pokémon Jangmo-o, and the Alolan form of Raticate which follows the previous reveal of the Alolan Rattata.
The video also reveals that there will be a built in mode where you get to take pictures of Pokemon and have them judged by others, meaning that the developers basically created a built in version of the hit 90s Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Snap.
There was also news that Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will run 12 hours apart so one game will be experiencing in game day time while the other will be in game night time, even if both players are playing at Noon real world time. Being set apart means that events will go down differently in both of the games.
The trailer teased some new creatures called Ultra Beasts, the only one shown being a jellyfish looking creature called UB-01, and the Aether Foundation that is interested in them. This new group lives on an artificial island and also takes in and helps Pokémon that have been hurt by Team Skull.
Lastly, players will receive a Zygarde Cube from Dexio and Sina, the assistants to Pokémon X and Y Professor Sycamore, that will allow them to collect cells of the Pokémon Zygarde to bring it back to it’s full form.
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon arrive on Nintendo 3DS on November 18.
