SDCC: Warner Bros. unleashes the very first footage from 2017’s “Justice League”

More and more is coming out of Warner Bros. San Diego Comic Con Hall H presentation, including this first look at footage from next year’s Justice League. It’s not a trailer for the film, more of a sizzle reel that shows Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman trying to bring together a team to varying degrees of success.

The most notable thing about the reel is the tone. Compared to the trailers and teasers that came out for 2013’s Man of Steel and this year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the tone for Justice League is far lighter. In fact, it’s the formerly more stoic and stern Bruce/Batman making some quips in the footage against Jason Mamoa’s Aquaman who appears the be the stern one this time around.

Justice League is directed by Zach Snyder, stars Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Affleck, Mamoa, Ray Fisher and Ezra Miller and opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.
