Wizard World, the company that once was famous for a comic book and pop culture magazine but now holds over 30 conventions a year around the United States, returned to Sacramento on June 19-21 for their second ever convention in California’s capital city. As with most conventions, there is a lot that people can do over the three days to truly enjoy whatever interests them from comics to movies to art or even just checking up on their favorite celebrities.

While there is tons to do across the three days of the convention, the second day is definitely the most packed as it’s the longest of the days. Whether it was checking out Q&A sessions with those aforementioned celebrities or taking part in the costume contest later in the day, there was plenty for people to do. Here is just a taste of what awesome things could be done:

Cosplayers Ivy Doomkitty, Nicole Marie Jean and Colin K Bass held a panel on Saturday morning offering tips and answering any questions about their own cosplay careers as well as about cosplay in general. (Photographer: Scott Redmond)

That’s just a small taste of the panels, guests and fun that can be found when attending Wizard World. Check out or social media and our other coverage of the three-day event to see what else happened at the Sacramento Convention Center.
